Hello fellow card makers,
As we all know, having enough paper, stamps, dies, embellishments, markers, etc is not reality. As crafters, we always want or think we need more so when an idea comes to us, we have the stuff to execute.
Well here's a way to make your dies go a little farther. I love making coffee themed cards and one of my favorite die sets is the coffee cup framelits from Stampin' Up. To make this set go a little further, I combined the large paper cup die with a large letter "C" die to make a large coffee cup.
It really makes a nice focal point for my card and you can't tell its actually two dies put together. Take a look at your dies and see which ones you can combine to make something special.
Happy card making!

Wilderness Inspiration for Greeting Cards
Hello fellow stampers,
I just got back from a fabulous family vacation and feel very relaxed and inspired. The mountains and wilderness were just breathtaking. All this natural beauty inspired me to make this card.
I used the Noble Deer stamp set from Stampin' Up and the rest is a sponging technique. I used several masks on the deer, sun and to the make the distant mountains. I am definitely not an artist so this is my best shot of a mountain lake and wildlife.
Inspiration can come from anything - just keep your mind and eyes open. You will be making one of kind cards in no time.

Make some one's day - send a card.
My New Year's resolution - well at least one of them, is to send
my handmade cards to friends and family more often. The cards I make
bring me a lot of joy and I think my loved ones would feel the same way about
receiving one.
Here are some of my favorites.
The first one is my go-to thank you card made with Stampin' Up's Lovely
as a Tree stamp set. The copper cord and vellum add a nice touch to the
card - gives a rich vibe but is really easy to create. Not shown is the
envelope which also has been stamped. I think it adds a nice touch.
My favorite Thinking of You
cards is made with a butterfly stamp which stamped on the card and also used to
make a little charm embellishment. I think it gives the card that
something extra that friends appreciate.
Another use for the Lovely as a
Tree stamp set is for a sympathy card. The trees are so peaceful and the
vellum overlay softens the message even more. The card shows one of my
favorite ways to add ribbon to card with vellum. It really gives it a
polished look.
And last but not least, below
is the Valentine's Day card I gave to my husband. I just love the little
chocolate kisses. This is also a great color combination.
I hope you enjoy these
favorites as much I do.
Happy Crafting!
